A Wedding in Pagosa

Not that long ago, I was able to shoot a wedding of two people that are dear to my heart. Their love is as beautiful and solid as the San Juan Mountains that they were married on.

Lucas and Stevi didn't rent a venue, they found it in the immense landscape that is Colorado. They were then surrounded by their closest friends and family, many of them bringing their talents to create a perfect day.

Alaskan Seiner: Revisited

A time, a little more than two years ago, I was on a plane for Alaska. I had received the opportunity to work on a commercial salmon boat. It was a tumultuous year in my life; a time I suppose when most young men search out adventure and danger. Those things were found, and so was a small forced community upon a fifty-six foot boat. I find myself continually looking back upon that month as a moment that shaped who I am today. Here is a quick and intimate look at a couple days of the life of a fisherman in the Northern Pacific.

Heart & Soul Wedding

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting a backlog of weddings and other shoots that the holiday season prohibited me from sharing.

Today I share with you a wedding of a couple of close friends: Kacie Jo and Mark Soulsby.

Two beautiful souls that got hitched by a lake. Their wedding was truly a culmination of the love of each other, friends, and family. I still feel honored to have gotten to shoot such a beautiful day.

Jimmy and the Motorcycle

Did Warnock and Sons go the way of the Vincent Shadow? (Sorry, quick motorcycle reference. Look ‘em up, if you are ready for your heart to be melted, and perhaps your face as well.) No, I am still here, taking photos and sharing them with the world.

Thanks to my friend Joe Bulger (check out his work at josephbulgerphotography.com) I was given the privilege to tag along on a fashion shoot for a clothing company. It incorporated my two loves: Photography and motorcycles.

Cheers!

The New Warnock and Sons

Warnock and Sons.

An entity I created for myself a little more than a year ago. Much has changed in my abilities and style. I hope these things may be for the best. With a change in aesthetic, I felt it only necessary to update this very site. So much like the photo above, every institution must be brought down, so that a new one can be built. Please come back, and check out any present work, and perhaps, hire me to photograph your next whatever.
